My name is Elizabeth and this is my blog.
“As We Grow Green” is a blog about personal growth in all areas of my life. I hope that it can be of some encouragement and a source of information for others as well. My family takes a special interest in things considered “green”. We dabble in subjects such as veg*nism, environmentalism, frugality, and peace.
I am the wife to an awesome man, Andrew. We got married on September 15, 2007. I am also a mother to two beautiful babies. Our daughter, Sarah, was stillborn on November 24, 2009. It was a tough time losing her, but she will always be my baby. My son, Aedan, was born on April 26, 2011.
I love being a mom and in fact it inspires me even more to follow my dreams and pursue the life I want for myself, my son, and my entire family.
